About the Event
Many system leadership teams can readily answer the question, "What keeps you up at night?" This one-of-a-kind learning and leadership seminar introduces educational leaders and their teams to a complex, adaptive approach for better understanding the possibilities and affordances within their local context. Amid the fluid, dynamic changes within local communities, district and school teams will contextualize a local project or challenge by creating a systems map. Systems mapping offers a fresh perspective on systemic thinking, where a sense of direction is developed, rather than trying to plan every step toward a final goal. This distinction is critical, yet complementary to existing practices and overall systems strategy. After all, you deserve a good night's sleep!
