Event Details
The mission of Raise is to bring together emerging investors, veteran fund entrepreneurs and limited partners in a collaborative forum designed to promote learning and catalyze fund growth. Our goal is to share relationships and wisdom that would normally take emerging fund entrepreneurs years to develop.
The first annual conference will be a springboard to forming a trusted community that will return each spring to give back to one another.
The day is organized around seven fast-paced core panels of emerging and experienced investors and entrepreneurs, interspersed with three breakout sessions. During the breakout sessions, small discussion groups will form to share their experiences in intimate peer-to-peer conversations.
The conference will address the same, foundational questions that all fund entrepreneurs face:
This conference is not about what to invest in or how to pick a deal. But rather, it’s about the practical side of building an investment business from scratch.
To ensure that each participant meets a diverse range of attendees and forms new connections, they will be assigned to discussion tables.
Who Should Attend
Fundapalooza
Concurrently with the core panels, Fundapolooza is the first "Demo Day" for emerging fund entrepreneurs. We are welcoming over 60 institutions, private wealth managers, and high net worth investors who are interested in funding the next generation of venture capital leaders. New fund participants will have the opportunity to formally present their background, track record and strategy in a series of short LP pitches, and a chance to follow up informally during the after party.
Here is a sample of participating investors:
Fundapalooza Application Now Closed: Application to present during Fundapalooza is now closed. Thank you for the overwhelming interest in Fundapalooza.
