13th Annual ARFF Leadership Conference

Being an ARFF Chief Officer quite often requires you to wear multiple hats.  In an effort to assist you or prepare you in conducting day-to-day operations, you must be well versed in management/union relations. FAA inspection process, FD/Airport management relations, along with a variety of profession challenges long before you respond out the door for an ALERT 3.  Oh, and let us not forget the tactics and strategies that encompass our profession, we need to know the how, when and where while developing a game plan on what to do about it.

The ARFF Training Alliance ARFF Leadership Conference will be held at the Hyatt Riverfront Hotel in Jacksonville, FL.  As in the past we look to provide topic areas of interest for Shift ARFF Officers, ARFF Commanders, Deputy Chiefs and Fire Chiefs.  If you are interested in presenting at this years’ school, please complete a “Call for Papers” submission form at our website www.arffwg.org or download the Call-for-Papers at this LINK.  Part of your agreement to present would be to submit an article on your presentation to be included in the ARFF Working Group's publication ARFF News.

EXHIBITORS

All exhibitors will be able to set-up their displays prior to the Welcome Reception/Information Exchange Program on January 28th from 2:00 P.M.—5:00 P.M.  Attendees will be available to visit the exhibit area throughout the program.  High volume times will be during registration, the Welcome Reception/IEP, coffee breaks, lunches  and prior to the opening of the conference each morning.  Exhibitors are invited and encouraged to attend the educational sessions.

The Jacksonville Int'l Airport is approximately 15 miles from the Hyatt Regency Riverfront Hotel. All major rental car companies are located at the airport.   East Cost Transportation is the hotel's exclusive ground transportation provider. In conjunction with GO shuttle services.  Go Airport Express operates 24hrs daily.

The Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront is located adjacent to the city’s iconic Main Street Bridge, providing panoramic river views and walkable access to the heart of downtown.
