Michael Duffy is a native Iowan originally from Davenport, Iowa. He spent 3 years in the military before attending the University of Iowa, receiving a BSCE. He worked in the private sector for Terracon and Shive-Hattery prior to working at Linn County for 9 years. Michael has been at the City of Cedar Rapids for the past 10 years. He is a member of the State All Hazard Incident Management Team as well as the City Incident Management Team. When not working, he enjoys woodworking, running, fixing broken things around the house and brewing beer.
