Barry Levenfeld is a senior partner at Yigal Arnon & Co., one of Israel’s top law firms. He has one of the leading M&A practices in Israel, and has represented numerous international companies, including IBM, CA Technologies, Medtronic, Stryker, Boston Scientific, eBay, PayPal, Oracle Software, Essilor and Red Hat, in the acquisition of Israeli companies. Of note, he represented IBM in the $680 million acquisition of Trusteer Ltd. He has also served as Israeli counsel for issuing companies and underwriters in connection with the initial public offerings of Israeli companies. His practice also includes venture capital and private equity fund formation and portfolio investment, as well as representation of technology and life science companies, from establishment through acquisition, public offering and beyond. Mr. Levenfeld is a graduate of Harvard College (1976) and Harvard Law School (1980), and a Senior Lecturer in corporate finance at the Law Faculty of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He is a co-founder of "Wheels of Love", Israel's preeminent sports charity event – an annual five-day bike ride for Alyn Hospital, a Jerusalem-based pediatric and adolescent rehabilitation center.
