Dan Moore

Dan A. Moore is a partner in the law firm of Moore, Corbett, Heffernan, Moeller & Meis, L.L.P., in Sioux City, Iowa. Dan is a graduate of Drake University, having received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1974 and was awarded his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1977. He is admitted to practice before the State and Federal Courts of Iowa, as well as the Supreme Court of the United States of America. Dan is also admitted to practice in the state of South Dakota. He served as President of The Iowa State Bar Association in 2008-2009. Dan served on the City of Sioux City Planning and Zoning Commission for several years. Dan has been a member of the Sioux City Council since January 2, 2014, and currently serves as the Mayor Pro-Tem, an appointment made by the Mayor.
