How does it work?
Recording Needs
Please make sure that you have access to one of the following:
We conduct our recordings through Zoom Webinar. Please ensure that you have access to the internet during your recording session. You can access Zoom via the web browser or on the Zoom application on your desktop, tablet, or phone.
Lighting
If you don't have access to third-party hardware such as a webcam, focusing on lighting can improve your built-in camera's quality. The main thing you need to be aware of is the temperature of your lighting. What we mean by this is that if one of your lights emits an "orange" or "warm" light, make sure to stick it with another light that emits the same temperature of lighting. Alternatively, if you have a light that emits a "blue" or "cool" light, make sure to include another light that emits that same temperature lighting. Combining "warm" lighting with "cool" lighting will cause inconsistencies. In total, you will want three lights that all match temperature-wise or one single ring light. You can purchase a small LED ring light online. If you don't have access to lighting, make sure to use natural lighting. Find a room in your house or office that allows natural light—for example, a room with big windows.
