Joel Rubinson is president of Rubinson Partners, Inc. which specializes in marketing and research consulting for a brave new world. Joel is also on the faculty of NYU Stern School of Business where he teaches social media strategy. Joel was Chief Research Officer at The Advertising Research Foundation, Joel drove the organization’s initiatives regarding listening, research transformation, and shopper path to purchase. Prior to joining the ARF, Joel led the advanced research practice for both Synovate and Vivaldi Partners, Inc. Joel was at the NPD Group for many years, leading the creation of modeling approaches for brand equity management, new product forecasting, category management and designed many of their data collection and sampling methodologies as NPD changed from paper diaries to online research. Joel started his research career at Unilever. Joel is a widely read blogger on marketing and marketing research topics. Joel holds an MBA in statistics and economics from the University of Chicago and a BS from NYU.
