Damian Garbaccio is the Executive Vice President of the Nielsen Marketing Cloud. He is responsible for leading all Nielsen Marketing Cloud commercial teams worldwide. As EVP, Garbaccio is responsible for Nielsen Marketing Cloud U.S.and global sales and client services. Garbaccio was previously the Global Chief Revenue Officer of eXelate, which he joined in 2008. He grew eXelate’s revenue exponentially across its core DMP and data businesses, while cementing partnerships with eXelate’s largest clients including Nielsen, MasterCard as well as leading agencies and channel partners. With over fourteen years of experience in digital media, online advertising and e-commerce, Garbaccio’s seasoned business acumen and executive sales and strategy leadership enabled the rapid growth of eXelate and its acquisition by Nielsen in March of 2015. Prior to the Nielsen Marketing Cloud, Garbaccio was most recently at Quantcast, where he served as the Publisher Group lead. Previously, he was the Senior Director of Business Development (Behavioral Solutions) at AOL’s Advertising.com where he built the data targeting business and led the post-acquisition integration of Tacoda’s data assets into the AOL framework. Garbaccio received a BA from Vanderbilt University, a Masters Degrees from Fordham (MBA) and Boston University (MS – Management Information Systems).
