James Fennessy is CEO of Standard Media Index, the company providing the only complete and clear picture on real advertising cost and spend. Prior to his current role at SMI, James serves as CEO for a leading U.S. sales performance consultancy business in APAC. He delivered major sales transformation projects with global brands across financial services, CPG, healthcare, IT, media and professional services before his company was acquired by Informa plc. James also held senior sales leadership positions within News Corporation in Australia and Hong Kong. Originally from Melbourne, Australia he has spent 15 of the last 20 years living in Asia and the U.S.
