About the Fall Conference
The American Public Works Association (APWA) Iowa Chapter 2024 Fall Conference is being hosted in Cedar Rapids. This conference has historically offered an excellent opportunity for those in the broad world of public works to expand knowledge, network, elect officers, and recognize award winners. The conference will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton with hotel rooms available at the group rate of $153 per night. Rooms must be booked by September 3 to receive the group rate. Golf Outing
This annual golf outing for the Fall Conference is a great way to kick off the event and enjoy some networking. Golf begins at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25 at the Ellis Golf Course. View full details of the golf outing.
Welcome Reception (included with most registrations; see Registration Info for details)
Starting after golf, at approximately 6:00 PM Wednesday, September 25 at Big Grove Brewery. Join us for drinks, food, and the golf awards.
The APWA Iowa Chapter will follow all current, local, and organizational guidelines as they relate to COVID precautionary measures.

We are looking for dynamic speakers to share their knowledge on public works-related issues that will be of interest to our Iowa Chapter conference attendees. Topics could include presentations on leadership, sustainability, planning & design, operations & maintenance, innovations in technology, or special project highlights.
