ROADEO COMPETITIONS

THURSDAY - OCTOBER 3, 2024

Participants in the Roadeo event can choose to compete in one, two, or three courses:

• Single Axle Snow Plow Course (2-person team event, includes diagnostic test)
• Skid Steer Individual Course*
• Mini Excavator Individual Course*

*Must have some experience on the skid steer and mini excavator to compete in these courses.

This event is rain or shine.  Be prepared with appropriate apparel for inclement weather.

**ROADEO GRAND CHAMPION**  

A Roadeo Grand Champion will be named for the participant who competes in all three Roadeo courses and has the highest, total combined score.  Since the Single Axle Snow Plow Course is a two-person team event, the total points earned for the team on that course will be the score used for each individual to count towards their overall score.  

Example:

Team Member 1

Single Axle Team Score = 2500

Skid Steer Individual Score = 1000

Mini-Ex Individual Score = 1500

Total Combined Score = 5000

Team Member 2

Single Axle Team Score = 2500

Skid Steer Individual Score = 750

Mini-Ex Individual Score = 1250

Total Combined Score = 4500

Roadeo Grand Champion would be Team Member 1.

Once again this year, the APWA Iowa Chapter will provide $1,000 to the winning team to use towards registration and travel expenses for the 2025 Western Snow and Ice Conference held in Colorado in late September 2025.
