Clients are increasingly seeking unbiased insights about consumer journeys and experiences. To provide these insights, Aimpoint has integrated on-shelf sensor suites and video analytics to deliver an unprecedented view of the functional aspects of CX. This technology answers questions that we didn’t even know to ask previously and would have missed in traditional CX research. Aimpoint utilizes existing infrastructure, like in-store security cameras, augmented with on-shelf sensors and advanced software to capture store traffic and customer path metrics and heat map the entire environment to more clearly understand where people linger. The on-shelf technology captures demographics, dwell time, and shelf and product interactions. This information, overlaid with point-of-sales data can uncover incredible new insights that can drive plan-o-gram modifications and profitability. It also helps measure the true impact of promotions, marketing and in-store merchandising efforts. The ability to continuously monitor these systems clarifies nuances related to seasonality, promotions, merchandising and positioning, as well as providing the ability to concept test various product configurations.
