About The Event
The NASA Human Research Program (HRP) Investigators' Workshop (IWS) is the primary venue for reporting progress and results from HRP-funded research and technology tasks to Program Management, with the additional benefit of permitting cross-discipline interaction among the full spectrum of investigators. It also provides NASA with an outreach opportunity to include abstract submissions from other external researchers who would like to become involved. This year's meeting spans three and a half days: Tuesday, January 28, through Friday, January 31, 2025 and will be held at the Galveston Island Convention Center (5600 Seawall Blvd, Galveston, TX). The theme for the 2025 HRP IWS is "Partnerships". This theme will be woven throughout the plenary presentations, discipline sessions, and networking events during the workshop. You must be registered to attend the workshop in person or virtually. Registered attendees will be able to access the detailed agenda, attendee connections, and more in the website portal in late November 2024. An email announcement will be distributed to registered attendees when the web portal is accessible. There is no registration fee for the workshop. Scientific discipline sessions featuring presentations by principal investigators will be organized and scheduled according to Human Research Program disciplines: Exploration Medical Capability (ExMC) Human Factors and Behavioral Performance (HFBP) Human Health Countermeasures (HHC) Research Operations and Integration (ROI) Space Radiation (SR) Space Biology Translational Research Institute for Space Health (TRISH) Other 2024 by the Numbers: 2639 Total Registrants 1400+ In-Person Attendees 600+ Scientists 600+ Presentations 54 Countries Attended
