About The Event
Join us on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 6-10 PM at Morgan Manufacturing for a night of celebration, storytelling, and connection. Our Annual Benefit Event will bring our community together in direct connection with the teachers, corps members, and school leaders driving student progress across Greater Chicago–Northwest Indiana. This year, we’re especially excited to highlight how Teach For America is strengthening the educator pipeline at every stage. From early-career talent in our Ignite Fellowship, a high-dosage tutoring program serving more than 13,000 students nationwide, to corps members leading classrooms, to the long-term leadership of our 3,500+ alumni across the region. Ignite represents an important evolution in our work. By engaging college students in relationship-centered tutoring, we are building an earlier, more intentional on-ramp into teaching and educational leadership. It’s a shift grounded in optimism about what’s possible for students when caring adults show up early, consistently, and with purpose.
