Randy Moore, M.D., is president of Mercy Virtual in Chesterfield, Missouri, where he leads a team focused on expanding access, improving outcomes and lowering health care costs through the delivery of telemedicine services to patients across multiple states. Prior to joining Mercy Virtual, Dr. Moore consulted with major health care systems to assist in their transition from traditional fee-for-service to value-based reimbursement models focused on population health management. During his more than 30-year career, he has provided leadership to companies of all sizes — including Fortune 500 companies — across the provider, pharmaceutical, biotech and health plan settings. Early in his career, he served as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University Of Minnesota School Of Medicine. He graduated with honors from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, earned his master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and completed undergraduate studies at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana, and the University of London in England.
