Dr. Jae Auh is currently a senior vice presidet at CJ Rokin Logistics in Shanghai, China, the largest private owned 3PL company in China acquired by CJ Korea Express in 2015, and has worked in logistics field for about 25 years. CJ Korea Express, founded in 1930 and headquartered in Seoul, Korea, is the largest and oldest logistics company in Korea with annual turnover of more than USD 6 billion. Its service scope includes 3PL, freight forwarding, express parcel delivery, project cargo, port terminal operations, and others. Dr. Auh has experienced diverse areas of logistics business in different countries. Prior to the current position, he was the director of CJ KX Advanced SCM Research Institute (CASRI) at CJ Korea Express, leading a SCM consulting team of more than 30 experts and managing the R&D projects for future logistics technologies with a group of 20 engineers. Before working in Korea, he was the managing director for greater China regions (including Hong Kong and Taiwan) at CJ Korea express based in Shanghai for 6 years. Before moving to China, he worked as a director of strategy for global business development based in Singapore for about 3 years. During the tenure in Singapore and China, he did leading roles in several M&A investment projects, business developments, integration of regional operations, and others. Before joining CJ Korea Express, Dr. Auh had served as a director at Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of Korean Government, working on planning and construction of sea ports and distribution parks throughout Korea Dr. Auh is fluent in English, Chinese, and Korean, and finished his Ph.D. degree at MIT in the field of international logistics and supply chain management.
