THE HUB

Important to know about Mindvalley U. Hub Betahaus

All Mindvalley U. workshops will take place at the central Hub Betahaus, located in Gracia (Address: Carrer de Vilafranca, 7, 08024).

Here are some important things to know about Betahaus:

• Betahaus is open to Mindvalley U. participants every week on Monday to Friday from 9AM - 6PM. The HUB is locked at other times, unless there's a special event happening on the evening.
• Mindvalley U. participants will have access to the ground floor where all the workshops, yoga sessions and other special events will happen, and 1st floor where we have hot desks for working. The other floors of Betahaus are occupied by regular members.
• We will provide still water on the ground floor but please bring your own bottle.
• Betahaus has a small self-service cafe on the 5th floor where you can purchase coffee, snacks and can pre-order lunch for the following day. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants in Gracia close to Betahaus.

How to get to Betahaus?

• The closest metro station is Fontana (Line 3) that's a 10 min walk from Betahaus. When you arrive at Fontana metro station, walk of the station to the left, turn left into Carrer de Asturies, Turn left at Carrer del Torrent d'Olla, turn right at Carrer de Biada. Carrer the Villafranca is on the 5th street to the left.
• A one-way ticket costs 4.5€ but we recommend purchasing a 10-journey ticket or "Hola BCN", depending on the length of your stay. You can read more about metro tickets here.
• Bicycle is another great option for moving around but please keep in mind that Betahaus doesn't have a special place for bikes.
 You need to find an option for locking your bike on the nearby streets.


THE AGENDA

Kick Off Party on Saturday, May 27 (10PM-1AM)

The Mindvalley U. Official Kick Off Party will begin at 10PM until 1AM at a beautiful panoramic restaurant Miramar, located in Montjuic (Address: Caretera Miramar 40. For Info on how to get to Miramar Restaurant click here).

However, in addition, we have a special opportunity to join the rest of the Tribe for a tapas style dinner and open bar from 8PM. If you're interested in joining the tribe dinner and having access to the open bar from 8PM-10PM, tickets are $65USD (includes a welcome drink, an open bar of wine, beer and water, juices and soft drinks, a tapas style dinner, and early entrance to the party venue). 

You should arrive to the party at 8PM. We recommend purchasing this ticket in advance, as door tickets for tapas & drinks will be 80€ in cash. Here's the link where you can purchase your ticket ($65USD) >>

If you're planning to have dinner on your own, then please come to the party from 10PM. Please bring cash or a card for drinks at the party from 10PM onwards.

Also, we're excited to announce that an incredible musician, prodigious vocalist, composer and multi-instrumentalist Elijah Ray will perform at MindvalleyU. Kick Off Party. Elijah just performed at our premium event, A-Fest in Ibiza, and he totally rocked the stage :)

Orientation Day on Sunday, May 28 (3PM - 6PM)

Join us at Mindvalley U. HUB Betahaus on Sunday, May 28 from 3PM until 6PM to get registered, and receive your wristband and welcome materials. You'll get a chance to meet the rest of the tribe, see Betahaus, and hear more about what's happening during the month.

If you can't make it on Sunday, no worries. The Mindvalley U. team will be at Betahaus Mondays to Fridays 9AM til 6PM and you can get your wristband and welcome materials then.

YOUR TICKET

What's included in the Mindvalley U. ticket fee?

Purchasing a full ticket for Mindvalley U. will give you access to the following:

• A curated community of spectacular entrepreneurs and digital nomads.
• Access to the Mindvalley U. HUB in Barcelona city center for the entire month. 
• Access to around 20 incredible workshops (Approx. 4 per week) with thought leaders from various fields. 
• Three (3) fabulous private parties for the community across the month, with additional networking events and bar nights every week.
• The opportunity to join Give Back Day on June 6th, a volunteerism initiative which focuses on giving back to the local community and helping people in need. 
• A 30% discount if you want to join any of the Mindvalley Premium Seminars taking place in Barcelona in June with teachers such as Neale Donald Walsch, Marisa Peer, Eric Edmeades, Wim Hof, and Jon & Missy Butcher from Lifebook.

What’s not included in the Mindvalley U. ticket fee?

The ticket doesn’t include your accommodation, meals or travel costs. It doesn’t include access to Mindvalley Premium Seminars that take place outside the Mindvalley U. HUB. Also, there will be various activities such as sightseeing trips, cruises, cooking classes and other local experiences happening for the group during Mindvalley U. that can be purchased separately. The special educational program for kids is also at an additional cost.

I want to bring my family with me to Barcelona. How much are the tickets for family members and kids?

All adults need a ticket but only one family member needs to fill out the application form to attend Mindvalley U. Once one person is approved, other family members can purchase their ticket using the same link. Kids under 18 can join the main program for free, but they will need to purchase additional tickets to any Mindvalley Premium Seminars they wish to attend. You’ll also get a chance to register for a special program designed for children at an additional fee. 

Is there a private group for Tribe members?

Absolutely! Make the most out of being part of the incredible Mindvalley U tribe by joining our private Facebook group where you can connect with other attendees from around the world. This group is strictly for Mindvalley U. ticket holders. Please request to join the group here >>>

What’s the refund policy?

Full refunds are available 30 days after purchase (valid up to 30 days before the event). If you can’t make it, you can always transfer your ticket to a friend. 

TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION

What travel dates do you recommend?  

It really depends on your plans for the month. Our first kick-off event happens on Saturday, May 27th and the HUB will be open until June 25th, with last workshops taking place at the HUB on June 23.

What about accommodation in Barcelona?

We recommend booking your AirBnB or hotel as soon as possible as June is a busy month in Barcelona. 

The Mindvalley U. HUB (where the workshops will take place) is located at the BETAHAUS, located at Carrer de Vilafranca, 7, 08024 Barcelona, Spain (in Gracia district in Barcelona city center).

Transport: How do I get around in Barcelona? 

Barcelona is a huge city, but the modern and very extensive public transport system allow you to get anywhere within the city in no time. Metro, buses, and trams run very frequently until late at night. Apart from that, there are several cable cars, funiculars, railways, sightseeing buses, taxis, local trains, night buses and other transport systems. The metro, buses, and trains of the FGC (the public transport system of Barcelona) are incorporated in an integrated transport system, therefore tickets are valid in almost all the different means of transport.

There multiple metro stations within 15 minutes walk to BETAHAUS including Lesseps (9 minutes), Fontana (9 minutes), and Gracia (15 minutes). You can buy tickets at any metro station and FGC station at the vending machines and at the pay booths. The vending machines have different language settings. 

In buses, you can only buy one-way tickets from the driver.

We’ll have a learning session happening in the Mindvalley U. HUB on afternoons from Mondays-Thursdays, and we have allocated some of those spots to Mindvalley U. Tribe. Please fill out a participation request form here and we will get back to you once we review your application.

Are you planning any activities for kids in Barcelona? 

Absolutely! There is a team of Tribe Members who are voluntarily creating a kids program for the duration of Mindvalley U. They have created a series of fun, experiential, progressive education workshops for children, led by world-class educators at a great cost. This is an opportunity for your children to experience a new way of learning, going beyond what is predominantly taught in schools.
