About the Event
A hands-on learning experience workshop that focus on various building blocks of social media marketng and strategy implementation. You will learn how to create a social media marketing plan and build awareness and engagement for your business. You will also learn how to tie results back to analytics that demonstrate whether you're achieving your goals. It will be a practical session in which you will work on your company’s campaign facilitated by industry experts, and use of practical tools and techniques to give you the confidence to lead your team back at the workplace. By the end of the workshop, you will: -Identify which key social media networks to focus on and creating content which users cannot find anywhere else -Learn how to create a social media plan with objectives, strategy and tactical considerations Able to create & identify shareable content which is relevant to their users -Learn how to conduct and track A/B tests to optimize content -Able to identify less complex ways in tracking results back to your goals and objectives in measuring social media success NOTE: This is a pilot session for the MaGIC Affiliate Program (MAfP).
About MaGIC Affiliate Program (MAfP)
MaGIC Affiliate Program (MAfP) is an online platform that connects aspiring entrepreneurs with quality training providers. MAfP programs will run both as workshops and courses for entrepreneurs. In line with the launch of MAfP, MaGIC will be conducting several pilot sessions (for FREE) which start on the 17th of February until end mid April.
Pilot sessions are 2 hour workshops that summarise the actual content and will give participants an essence of the real workshop/course. One of the key objective of these MAfP Pilot sessions is to evaluate all training vendors on board as affiliates and participants play a key role in providing evaluation on respective vendors to ensure that the MAfP will have quality affiliates that deliver quality content consistently.
Elyson Ng was the Head of Onsite (Marketing) at Rocket Internet venture, ZALORA. He gained the knowledge and the know-how to navigate the challenging digital marketing space. Part of his portfolio was to optimize the digital marketing channels, remarketing campaigns to targeted audiences and overseeing organic social media platforms.
He is passionate about using marketing tactics to help startups grow. His latest involvement was in an accelerator helping startups to set up their marketing channels with limited budget. The outcome can be seen with the startups connecting with real businesses immediately. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Technopreneurship & Innovation from NTU (Singapore). He is also interested in diving, travelling and photography.
Azmie Suhaimi is passionate about connecting social behavior & lifestyles with businesses and making it matter to them. His most recent adventure is in viral social media/native advertising where he strategized and monetized successfully for the top two online communities in Singapore, SMRT Feedback & SGAG. For SGAG, he was responsible for initiating and implementing business and operations SOP that resulted in the transition into a viable and profitable native advertising business. He also does strategic and consulting work for clients looking to expand their native advertising remit.
Azmie is a Rocket Internet alumni and has experience working in network agencies. He also previously held a regional & co-founder role in travel startup, HotelQuickly and helped achieve 200,000+ sign ups in less than a year via his Twitter, Instagram and Facebook engagement campaigns. Prior to that, he provided leadership to ZALORA Singapore’s social team to lead and run campaigns which resulted in 1000+% growth in the Facebook community within less than a year; and doubling direct revenue. He began his career servicing accounts under global advertising agency BBDO, and achieved Effie silver & bronze for brands under his charge in 2011. Azmie was educated at NUS (Singapore), in New Media and Communications.
