Tonda infuses her Texas size passion into every aspect of the Digital Kids’ business. She is a founding executive team member for Digital Kids Media, spin-off of The Show Initiative where she worked to re-brand the company and continued the innovation behind it by co-creating Digital Kids Summit in San Francisco, CA in 2013. Today, she continues to produce Digital Kids Summit, Kids at Play and Family Tech. Her diverse background in education reform and policy to innovation and tech motivates her to maintain a keen focus on the next gen by bringing experts together to share and grow the Kids & Family Digital business. Staying ahead of digital trends and highlighting industry professionals and brands bringing apps and toys to the marketplace that not only inspire, but engage children throughout their developmental years is what inspires her to continuously seek progressive education options for curiosities and learning styles for all children both at home and in the classroom. Hailing from the Lone Star State with a Masters in Education, Sellers began in the classroom quickly turning from teacher to advocate with a focus on economic development and child advocacy nonprofits Putting Children First, The Governor’s Business Council, and Texas Public Policy. Sellers is the mother of two digital natives – a five and six-year-old who inspire her to stay curious on a daily basis through play and exploration. Sellers is an active community volunteer with the local PTA, the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo and has held leadership in the Junior League of Austin and Chicago. Among her many accomplishments include Producer of FamilyTech Summit and KAPi Awards, Judge of KAPi Awards, 10 Under 20 Young Innovators to Watch Las Vegas, Young Tech Challenge Chicago Toy and Game Fair, Toy of the Year Award and Expert on the Genius of Play Campaign.
