About the Event
By the end of the actual workshop, you will be able to: • Use basic selection tools and edge refinement to isolate and edit parts of an image. • Manipulate layers through ordering, positioning, scaling, rotation, and adjustments. • Create composite images that demonstrate advanced selection and layering techniques. • Prepare images for Web and print output with appropriate sizing and resolution. • Apply painted masks, selection-based masks, gradient masks, and blend modes to create sophisticated image effects. • Create adjustment layers for editable, non-destructive changes to image coloration and exposure. • Set and modify typography using the full range of type tools, the Character panel, and the Paragraph panel. • Apply special effects to typography using masks, paths, and layer styles. • Use preset brushes and custom brushes to colorise images, enhance images, and build illustrations. • Stylise images by combining filters with blending and masks. • Evaluate and correct image imperfections using adjustment layers, and retouching tools. 1) Participants to bring along their laptops. 2) To download and install a trial version of Adobe Photoshop CC from this link: https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/photoshop NOTE: This is a pilot session for the MaGIC Affiliate Program (MAfP).
About MaGIC Affiliate Program (MAfP)
MaGIC Affiliate Program (MAfP) is an online platform that connects aspiring entrepreneurs with quality training providers. MAfP programs will run both as workshops and courses for entrepreneurs. In line with the launch of MAfP, MaGIC will be conducting several pilot sessions (for FREE) which start on the 17th of February until end mid April.
Pilot sessions are 2 hour workshops that summarise the actual content and will give participants an essence of the real workshop/course. One of the key objective of these MAfP Pilot sessions is to evaluate all training vendors on board as affiliates and participants play a key role in providing evaluation on respective vendors to ensure that the MAfP will have quality affiliates that deliver quality content consistently.

Hussin Khan was the Head of Education at the Academy Award winning, Visual Effects and Animation studio, Rhythm & Hues. Whilst at Rhythm & Hues, he conducted numerous training programmes for MDEC. He attained his Adobe Certified Expert certifications and is one of the few Adobe Certified Instructor in Malaysia. He's passionate about creating Visual Effects for feature films. He recently worked on a feature film directed and produced by an award winning British Director, Hasraf Dulull. The movie, "The Beyond" will be released soon.
In 2013 Hussin started his own Training and Certification Centre based in the Knowledge Development Centre, Cyberjaya. The centre offers training and certification for Adobe, Nuke, Unity and Cinema 4D. He does his own marketing via social media and creates all his content and collaterals using his favourite Adobe application, Adobe Photoshop.
