Megan Antonelli, CEO, Event Director, HealthIMPACT, Founder & CEO, Purpose Events

Megan is a relentless creator and trend spotter who brings people together to solve big problems.  She believes face to face meetings create a shared focus that brings forth new insights, a clearer sense of purpose, and solutions that impact performance. A creative and passionate leader, Megan has a keen interest in how technology is transforming the way people live, work, play, and connect.  She knows the time is now to challenge traditional concepts of learning and networking to foster the innovation and productivity businesses need to compete in today’s complex and global markets. 

Prior to founding Purpose Events, Megan managed a multi-million dollar event portfolio and produced hundred of healthcare events for thousands of executives. She held positions Informa, World Congress, IQPC, Institutional Investor, WebMD, Kaiser Permanente, and Columbia Presbyterian.  Megan graduated from Vassar College and attended Columbia University’s School of Public Health. When she’s not creating memorable events, you’ll find Megan at the ballpark watching little league with her two boys, planning meals that may never be made, running, taking pictures, blogging, comparing LA to NY, and enjoying life at the beach with her husband Ben.

Joe McConnell, Chief Growth Officer, HealthIMPACT, Partner, Purpose Events 

Joe is in charge of the strategic direction and growth of the business.  Joe has been in the events business since 2000 and prior to joining Purpose Events, Joe has held numerous sales management positions within the industry with companies including IQPC, World Research Group, IMN and the Financial Times.  Joe graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst with a bachelor of science in sports management. An avid sports fan and coach, Joe has 2 children, a daughter Briahna who he tours the US with at various dance competitions and a son Jack who he coaches in most sports including soccer, basketball, baseball and lacrosse.
