Tineke Netelenbos is president of the Royal Association of Netherlands Shipowners and of the Task Force for the Maritime Labour Market. She is member of the Board of ECSA, the European Community Shipowners’ Associations and member of the Board of the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers. She is a member of the Advisory Board of MARIN, President IT platform (ECP), President Advisory Council ports of Wadden islands, Member Cyber Security Council and Member High Level Consultation Ministry of Economic Affairs. The Kok cabinets During the second Kok cabinet (1998-2002) she served as minister for Transport, Public Works and Water Management. In 1994 Netelenbos was appointed as secretary of state for education in the first Kok cabinet (1994-1998). More background Tineke Netelenbos was elected to the Second Chamber of Parliament in 1987, following appointments to the Haarlemmermeer municipal council, regional government and the PvdA (the Dutch Labour Party) Board. She served as her party’s spokesperson for education, as chair of the education parliamentary commission and of the public health parliamentary commission.
