David Clark is the Area Manager of the Targa Resources Galena Park Marine Terminal, a marine petro-chemical facility located on the Houston Ship Channel. David has served in various roles over his 39 year tenure at the facility, including Maintenance, Technical, and Operations Supervisors, before becoming the facility Area Manager in 1999. Targa’s Galena Park facility is an import/export hub for natural gas liquids and petro-chemical feedstock. The Terminal is connected by pipeline to Targa’s Mont Belvieu, Texas fractionation and storage complex, as well as area refineries, terminals, and petro-chemical facilities. The recent influx of product from the Eagle Ford and other shale drilling has sparked expansion opportunities at the Galena Park Marine Terminal and Targa’s Mont Belvieu facility. David worked on a number of international projects over the years, most involving import and export of products from Central & South America, West Africa and India. David is also active in several Port of Houston working groups, committees and subcommittees. He has been active on a number of boards and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Clean Channel Association and is Vice-Chairman of the Galena Park Local Emergency Planning Committee. David is a proud husband, father, grandfather, and most recently a great-grandfather. In addition, he serves in various areas of his church, is an avid musician, an organic gardener, and is active in the community.
