Putting Care at the Center is the annual conference of the National Center for Complex Health and Social Needs funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, AARP, and The Atlantic Philanthropies, and sponsored by the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers.The 2017 conference is co-hosted by Kaiser Permanente.

Stakeholders attending the Conference include clinicians (medical, nursing, social work, psychology, and more), educators and students, researchers and data scientists, policy makers and advocates, and patients, families and community members. The conference is designed for both established leaders and newcomers to the field.

What is the Beehive?
The Beehive sessions at the conference serve as a space for conference attendees to engage in the next wave of innovation for complex health and social needs. The Beehive includes: poster presentations; resource, tool, and technology exchange; and experience from the field conversations.
Are there conference sponsorship spots or hosting opportunities?
Kaiser Permanente is the confirmed co-host of the 2017 National Center for Complex Health and Social Needs conference. Co-hosting the conference includes providing logistical and financial support, and consulting on conference content. If you are interested in co-hosting a future conference please contact Elizabeth Peto, nationalcenter@camdenhealth.org.

What is the per person cost of conference registration?
General admission is $725 per person. This fee covers two-day conference registration which includes breakfast and lunch on both days. Early bird pricing is available at $595 until October 17, 2017 at midnight PST.
Is my ticket refundable?
• Purchased tickets can be transferred to other parties in the event the ticket buyer can no longer attend until October 15th, 2017.
• Compensated and reduced price tickets cannot be transferred after tickets are provided (excluding Early Bird tickets).
• Tickets are 100% refundable until October 15, 2017. After October 15th, 2017 tickets are no longer refundable.
• Early Bird tickets that are refunded cannot be reclaimed after Early Bird pricing ends. New tickets must be purchased at full price.

Will continuing medical education/continuing education unit(s) be made available for the conference?
Yes, 11 CME/CEU credits are available for Putting Care at the Center. See our Continuing Education Units page to learn more. In order to be eligible for credits, make sure you fill out your medical license number and CEU/CME preference when registering for the conference.
Will the pre-conferences offer CME/CEU credits?
Some of these trainings will offer CME/CEU(s), and others will not. Visit our pre-conferences webpage to learn more.

Pre-conference meeting logistics
Are there pre-conferences I can attend?
Yes, there will be pre-conferences. Pre-conferences will be held on November 15, 2017. Information about pre-conferences can be found here.
Who is the primary contact for the pre-conference logistics?
If you are a pre-conference host - your primary contact for pre-conference logistics is Elizabeth Peto, nationalcenter@camdenhealth.org.
Are other pre-conference presenters charging for their meetings and/or trainings?
Yes. However, this varies greatly. Some pre-conference activities include meetings that are free to its attendees, while other organizations will make trainings available where attendees will have the option of receiving CE/CME units. These training sessions are likely to have a higher cost.
What is the cost to a hosting organization to hold a pre-conference meeting?
The hosting organization will need to cover the cost of food, beverage, and A/V materials at the Westin Bonaventure for their attendees.
How is registration for pre-conference events managed?
We will have a conference website that allows for registration and payment for the conference. We anticipate that most pre-conference meetings would be advertised and available for registration through the same conference page. However, if there is a need for the host organization to manage its own registration, we are open to those arrangements.
