A look back at Do It Day 2016
About The Event
Let’s destigmatize mental health.
The Drum’s mission is to empower marketers to change the world and that is precisely what Do It Day is about. After the success of Do It Day 2016 which saw 20 campaigns based on social good launched in the UK and USA, this year The Drum will focus on destigmatizing mental health.
In collaboration with the UN’s World Mental Health Day on 10th October, The Drum, together with its partners, will invite the industry to help tackle areas of mental health by drawing up a campaign strategy to be launched on 9th November.
We want to encourage agencies, brands, tech companies, publishers and anyone who likes ideas to spend the day with us on 10th October to work on parts of the campaign that interest them the most. You’ll spend the day with people you’ve never worked with before, you’ll be pushed to your full potential, and you’ll leave knowing that you can make a difference.
In the run-up to the campaign launch, you’ll spend a couple of hours a week meeting with your teams laying the groundwork for the launch. It’s crazy, it’s hard, and you’ll think it’s impossible, but it’s amazing the power a small team can have when they put their mind to it.
So what do you think? Have you got what it takes to join us on our challenge and help make the world a better place? As a reader of The Drum, we think you do.
