The Innovative IT Project of the Year Award recognizes a company with a recent IT Project implementation that demonstrates value/impact to the organization by solving a business problem or addressing a specific strategic objective for the company.
All companies located within the St. Louis region are eligible. To be considered, the IT Project must have concluded (but not necessarily started) during the 2016 calendar year.
IT Projects considered for this award include IT Services (consulting, contracting, processing, data storage); Software (programs, programming processes); Hardware (mainframe, PC, networks, technology devices such as handhelds, etc.); and Data Networks (wired and wireless communications, network security, etc.).
Award candidates range from small, medium to large companies located in the St. Louis region. The company should present an IT Project with the following characteristics:
- Meeting or exceeding the requirements and expectations of internal and/or external customers.
- Demonstrating a quality approach through organizational values and working practices.
- Using innovative approaches or technologies as part of project delivery.
- Demonstrating quantifiable performance improvements for the organization (internal or external customer).
