As Principal of Kemo Sabe, Lisa Tweardy is dedicated to helping reduce preventable death and injury by building teams to leverage new technology and commercialize integrated medical device product, service and clinical education platforms that advance the standard of care. She is a serial entrepreneur, helping teams build winning strategies, create value propositions and differentiated business models for new products or service platforms that focus on unsatisfied jobs, pains and gains. Previously, she served in many leadership roles including CEO of Combat Medical, General Manager for Biomet Bracing, and Vice President of Orthopaedics and General Manager of Spine at Ossur. She has been awarded 17 patents, is a published researcher and recognized technical speaker, including at the Mayo Clinic Transform Conference 2016, where she talked about a marketing strategy for Bedside Patient Rescue. Currently, she is Vice President Business Development at UNYQ, a prosthetic-device startup with an office in Charlotte. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Bio-engineering from Lehigh University, and a Master’s Degree in the Management of Technology from the School of Engineering and the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
