Natalie Williams is a native of NJ and moved to Charlotte Metrolina 11 years ago. She recently joined the Institute team as the Executive Director of the Women’s Business Center of Charlotte May of 2016. She is a professional leader with extensive knowledge and experience in effective execution and implementation of policy, procedure, and programs; and has over 15 years of financial, organizational development, and operational management. She enjoys working in financial management, her background and expertise lies in Budget Oversight, Projections, Bookkeeping/Accounting, 401K & Annuity, Internal Controls, and Insurance. She has worked in Corporate America and Nonprofit and prefers the non-profit industry because she feels that she can utilize more of her talents and abilities to give back to others. Her heart and passion is connected to seeing others do well. Her mantra is “If I can help someone else be their best, than I have made my mark on society”. Natalie worked for the Carolinas-Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council for over eight years where she served as the Director of Operation overseeing budgets, supervising staff, managing Corporate and MBE relationships, managing HR and providing day-to-day leadership of the organization. As the Director of the WBC-Charlotte she will continue working in collaboration with resource partners to strengthen training programs for women entrepreneurs across a 12 County Region of Charlotte. Her goal is to empower women with the tools necessary to succeed, promoting self-sufficiency through entrepreneurship. She loves becoming part of the growth process by providing entrepreneurs with the resources, connections, leadership, professional and business development training needed in order to develop. She is responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance on the WBCC vision, developing training & counseling programs, managing staff, and overseeing WBC Charlotte’s budget. Natalie has served on several nonprofit boards and enjoys giving back to the community, spending time with her family, new grandbaby, friends and BBQ. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Management.
