Driving to Tulsa

Attendees who are within driving distance may opt to drive to attend LEAD if they so choose. The LEAD team will reimburse mileage at a rate of $0.545/mile with a maximum reimbursement of $350. This means the maximum reimbursable distance an attendee may travel is approximately 321 miles each way.

Flying to Tulsa

If you are traveling by air, please make sure you confirm your availability first. 

Early Admit Corps Members will receive an email from ____________ with guidance on booking your travel.

We anticipate flights to Tulsa to cost approximately $500 on average. In order to maximize the use of funding available, please choose the most fiscally responsible flight options. Please review the airport arrival and departure details in Groupize as you consider your flight choices.

Boarding Passes/Flight Ticketing

When you booked your travel, you received an itinerary with your specific flight and confirmation number. You will use the confirmation number to check in with the airline (either online or in person at the airport) within 24 hours of your flight. At that time you will receive your boarding pass which you will use to get through security and board your plane. If you need another copy of your itinerary, please reach out to precorps@teachforamerica.org.

[IMPORTANT]  In order to comply with federal funding guidelines, you are responsible for submitting all boarding passes for all segments of your travel to and from LEAD 2018.

You will need submit your boarding pass in one of the following ways:

Provide one printed copy at Summit registration when you check-in and check-out

Save your boarding pass as a PDF or take a photo of it and and email to precorps@teachforamerica.org.
