Question: What expenses are covered by TFA? |
Answer: Your flight, hotel, and meals during meeting times will be covered by Teach for America. You will be responsible for transportation while in the city and any meals outside of our meeting space times. |
Question: Can I bring my partner if they are a veteran or my spouse? |
Answer: If your partner or spouse is NOT a current corps member, alumni or works full time staff at Teach for America we will not be able to accommodate them for this event. |
Question: How do I book my flight? |
Answer: Once your registration is confirmed, you will be sent an e-mail with a logistics memo and a link to book your flight. All flights must be booked by March 26th. |
Question: Will I have a roommate at the summit? |
Answer: Yes, we have a select number of single rooms available for the summit. If you have an extenuating circumstance that would require you to have a single room, please note that in your registration. If there is a specific person you would like to room with, please also include that in your registration. |
Question: The breakout I am interested in attending is full, what do I do? |
Answer: If the breakout you want to attend is full, please register to attend a different breakout. You will still get to interact with the facilitator of that breakout session during the networking portions of our agenda. |
Question: I registered for the event but can no longer attend, what do I do? |
Answer: Please e-mail veterans@teachforamerica.org immediately. We have 100 spots for this event and will take someone off our waiting list to fill your spot. |
