This panel will review the role of Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA), the AFYA Foundation, Montefiore Health System as well as many health institutions and providers had in collecting and delivering desperately needed medical and other supplies to Puerto Rico on behalf of New York’s hospital community in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. The panel will also discuss the Hurricane Maria-related mental health challenges that many children in Puerto Rico continue to experience.
