Martha Burger
Martha Burger is the 18th president of Oklahoma City University. She is a former executive in the energy industry and served as Senior Vice President – Human and Corporate Resources at Chesapeake Energy Corporation. She also served the company as Treasurer and Corporate Secretary. During her tenure at Chesapeake, the company grew from less than 100 employees to over 13,000 and was recognized by FORTUNE Magazine as one of the 100 Best Companies to Work For® in the U.S. from 2008 until 2013. She was instrumental in creating and sustaining the company’s vibrant, unique and nationally recognized culture. Martha is extremely active in civic and professional organizations as well as statewide initiatives. She has a long history with Oklahoma City University, earning her MBA from OCU in 1992 and joining the Meinders School of Business Oklahoma Commerce and Industry Hall of Honor in 2011. She served as a trustee and chair of the university’s Audit and Finance Committee. She also received an honorary doctorate of Humane Letters in 2012.
Chip Fudge
Chip is the Chairman of Claims Management Resources, Inc. His companies (CMR/AnSR/AMR) employ over 235 employees at their headquarters in Oklahoma City.Chip is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, where he majored in Pre-Law and minored in Philosophy. He attended the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University and continued education at the London Business School and Harvard Business School. He was a nominee for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 1996. Chip has been credited for his work in redeveloping the Historic Film Exchange Row District, just west of Downtown OKC. CMR, AMR and AnSR are also housed in this district. Besides restoring historic buildings - Chip is a restaurateur and is the co-owner of three local restaurants, Joey's Pizzeria, R&J Lounge & Supper Club and Ludivine, all located in downtown Oklahoma City. Chip and his wife, Shannon, have five children and six grand-children. Chip collects antique motorcycles and classic cars. He enjoys fly fishing, racing cars in the U.S. and Mexico and is an avid traveler. His travels include Russia, South America, Mongolia, Australia, the Middle East, and Europe.
Gloria Torres
Ms. Gloria Torres is an Educational Consultant currently working with the Department of Education of Puerto Rico. She also serves as the Vice Chair of the Oklahoma City Public Schools Board of Education. A life-long Oklahoman, Ms. Torres was born and raised in South Oklahoma City. She has dedicated her professional and personal life to enhancing the lives of others with an emphasis on the progress of women and children through education and community development. Over the span of her career, Gloria has worked at every level from elementary to higher education and served in several capacities from teacher assistant to principal. Gloria was appointed to the Oklahoma Commission on the Status of Women in 2015 and elected as the Vice-Chair in 2016. Ms. Torres earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education from The University of Central Oklahoma and her Master’s degree in Public Administration at Texas Women’s University.
Tommy Yi
Tommy is passionate about designing products that delight users and providing effective solutions that addresses the needs of the business. He is passionate about new technology startups and is actively involved with Oklahoma City’s startup entrepreneurial community and economic growth. He specializes in ethnographic-based generative design research, interaction design, customer experience, digital transformations, and product design with over a decade of experience. Tommy has consulted and worked with globally recognized brands. Tommy serves on the board of Techlahoma, Creative Oklahoma, Learn to Code, and InnovateOK and founded the first coworking space in the state of Oklahoma. He has founded several tech companies and is also a co-founder of StarSpace46.
