KEYNOTE SPEAKER
ALISON LEVINE
Alison Levine is a history-making polar explorer and mountaineer. She served as team captain of the first American Women’s Everest Expedition, climbed the highest peak on each continent and skied to both the North and South Poles—a feat known as the Adventure Grand Slam, which fewer than forty people in the world have achieved. In January 2008, she made history as the first American to complete a 600-mile traverse from west Antarctica to the South Pole following the route of legendary explorer Reinhold Messner. Levine completed this arduous journey on skis while hauling 150 pounds of her gear and supplies in a sled harnessed to her waist. She made history again in 2016 when she completed two first ascents: Hall Peak in Antarctica and Khang Karpo in Nepal. Her success in extreme environments is noteworthy given she has had three heart surgeries and suffers from Raynaud’s disease, which causes the arteries that feed her fingers and toes to collapse in cold weather—leaving her at extreme risk for frostbite.

KAI KIGHT
Kai Kight uses music as a metaphor to inspire individuals and organizations around the world to compose paths of imagination and fulfillment. Inspired by his mother who, when diagnosed with cancer, revealed regrets of not bringing her ideas to the world, Kai is on a mission to spark a global mindset shift in which ingenuity is the norm, not the exception. In his emotionally powerful presentations, Kai performs original music and candidly shares stories from his own transformation as an artist, translating these insights into takeaways that audiences can infuse into their own lives and work environments.
As a musician, he has performed his original music for audiences around the world, from the White House to the Great Wall of China. As a speaker, he has created impactful experiences for a wide range of audiences internationally, including for clients such as The Walt Disney Company, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and the Super Bowl-winning Seattle Seahawks. His mesmerizing and original violin performance beautifully becomes a sonic metaphor for the core of his message: to inspire people to compose unique ideas in a world that celebrates conformity.
