Startup Networking Event: Hardened Systems in Mobility, Healthcare, Energy and IoT
30th January 2020
Herzliya, Israel
1:00 PM - 6:00 PM
START UP EVENT WINNER
We are pleased to announce that the winner of the start up pitch was Lakuruma for its advanced optical communication vehicle-to-everything system, a hybrid RF-optical communication solution that integrates with LIDAR, switching between RF and optical signals as required, ensuring complete coverage. This hybrid solution enables vehicle-to-vehicle, as well as vehicle-to-everything (V2V/V2X) communication, with faster data transfer, larger bandwidth and improved signal quality.
Pitching and accepting for Lakuruma was Dr. Amir Handelman (Ph.D.), Senior Lecturer in Faculty of Engineering at Holon Institute of Technology, and Cheif Technology Officer (CTO) of Lakuruma.
ABOUT THE EVENT
With the growing number of devices and interconnections, it is important to balance the performance of systems with the trusted parameters of engagement including data protection, ethical implications and security vulnerabilities, while addressing mobility, healthcare, energy and IoT systems. These vulnerabilities could impact an individual’s or organization’s finances, safety, or even damage their reputation. IEEE SA invites you to its Hardened Systems Event where the challenges in Mobility, Healthcare, Energy and IoT will be discussed as well as potential solutions to these issues through open source, market mechanisms, standards and more. Start ups will be able to share ideas and perspectives, and receive advice and lessons learned from industry experts--investors, market analysts and executives--from companies in cybersecurity, mobility, healthcare, energy and IoT. Submit your Pitch for consideration of 1 of the 10 slots available by 28 January 2020 to Lloyd Green @ l.g.green@ieee.org. Register for this complimentary event today as seats are limited.
