The COVID-19 crisis is accelerating a transformation already well underway - the digitization of the innovation team.
Pre-crisis, nearly every innovation team activity - from communications and scheduling to scouting and research to idea generation, prototyping and broader venture development - was already software-enabled through the use of email programs, web browsers, office suites and other general purpose applications.
Now, forced to operate within telework and travel constraints, innovation teams must consider how to move beyond software-enabled activities to software-centric activities.

To help leaders and teams answer these questions, Innovation Leader is launching a new “digital innovation tools” events-and-research theme with its first Software Showcase. From 11am to 2pm ET on June 18th, digital innovation software companies will demonstrate their tools and platforms.
The online event will start with each company giving a 5-minute “fast-pitch” overview of their offering. Innovation leaders and teams will then have the opportunity to join in deep-dive conversations with the vendors whose solutions interest them most.
