    About #ELGLInspire Events

    This is an interactive virtual event for students to learn more about careers with towns, cities, counties, and districts. It is free for students, thanks to a partnership between ELGL, TCMA, GFOAT, and the LBJ School at UT. You'll have the opportunity to learn from local government leaders from across Texas, and then meet with them in small groups. The event concludes with a panel about how to find a local government job or internship, and the available graduate degree programs you can pursue for a career in local government.
