BOOSTING EMPLOYMENT AND GLOBAL SKILLS FOR INCLUSIVE GROWTH
28 October 2020
1:30pm - 4:30pm GMT
In this, the sixth episode in the series, we will examine how stakeholders are addressing the major employment and labour disruptions associated with the Covid-19 pandemic and its aftermath. We will also consider the role of data in supporting recovery. As some economies experience record unemployment as a result of the economic downturn, we will discuss how to address the challenges of youth unemployment and look at how to provide citizens with the skills of the future. We will examine social and income protection policies and consider how education has changed as a result of the pandemic plus look at ways in which the lessons learned during 2020 could be applied to future skills development.
