State of the Region Community Event
The unprecedented events of 2020 rocked our region to its core, and the COVID-driven public health and economic crisis shed a bright light on widening cracks in the foundation of our community. Low wages, high poverty, and deeply-rooted racial disparities challenged Tampa Bay before the virus and, without intervention, will likely increase as a result of the pandemic.
As we enter the new year, and begin to move toward recovery, can we come back better and stronger than ever before? Or are we at risk of falling even further behind? Will our racial and ethnic disparities grow wider, or can we develop strategies to close these gaps?
We’ll take on these questions and more at the region’s premiere leadership event.
