About The Event
This year we have stayed apart for the public health of our community. As we eagerly await improving local conditions, we announce the 2021 Honor Roll Gala! Guests will have two options on how to attend and connect: in-person or at-home. Our program will once again honor champions of education in the RGV. We are excited to celebrate their huge impact as a regional community with an inspiring program: either socially-distanced at the Mission Events Center or streamed live to the comfort of your home for you and your guests. In-person attendees will have an outdoor cocktail hour, program and an evening full of drinks, food, and music. Our guests at home will have the option to celebrate in small groups and enjoy delicious food and drinks as they participate virtually in the celebrations. During a year when teachers are working so diligently to ensure students are learning, Teach For America has invested in updated training and support. Additionally, they are already recruiting and preparing to bring in the next group of exceptional, equity-oriented teachers. All support from this event supports these efforts in our local community and provides better educational opportunities for the most vulnerable students in the Rio Grande Valley.
