Oregon #ELGLInspire

#ELGLInspire events share information about careers with towns, cities, counties, and districts. Events in Oregon are produced in partnership with the Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL) network, the League of Oregon Cities (LOC), the Oregon Government Finance Officers Association (OGFOA), and the Special Districts Association of Oregon (SDAO). All events are free for students to attend. The event includes three parts: first, students quickly learn from local government practitioners about the different jobs in local government. Then, students can visit with the speakers in breakout rooms. The event concludes with a panel discussion about finding a local government job or internship.
