    ABOUT PRDECODED: PURPOSE TRANSFORMED

    PRWeek's annual conference, PRDecoded will be held in a virtual setting this year.

    The theme for this year is Purpose Transformed, the third chapter in the progression of purpose at PRWeek’s highest-profile annual gathering. As last year proved, we cannot predict the circumstances that will surround the event.     GENYOUth is providing grants of up to $3,000 per school to supply much-needed resources for meal distribution and delivery. From soft-sided coolers, bags and containers for individual servings, to protective gear for food service sanitation and safety, this equipment will ensure our children continue to receive the nutritious meals they need. To date, it has deployed $7.5 million in emergency funding supporting 7,500 schools, but the need is far greater than anything we have ever experienced!


    PRWeek kicked off PRDecoded: Purpose Principles 2019 by partnering with GENYOUth, Fuel Up to Play 60 and Midwest Dairy to increase student access to school breakfasts at DuSable and Bronzeville Scholastic Institute high schools in Chicago. PRWeek’s team gathered with students, school administrators and former Chicago Bear Anthony Morgan for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony and breakfast cart unveiling. The donation of the breakfast cart helped serve almost 100,000 meals annually to students and underscores PRWeek’s commitment to community service and youth empowerment.
