Dear Attendees,

It is my honor to serve as the Chairwoman for the 2022 Franchise Leadership & Development Conference. This dynamic and energetic annual event brings together the most experienced leaders and franchise development professionals in a wide range of industries. 

This year, we’ve had the opportunity to attend live franchising conferences, including the IFA and the Multi-Unit Franchising Conference. The common refrain at these events was that “it is so great to re-connect – to be together live and in person.” We have a newfound, deep appreciation for human connection. As development professionals, we understand the power of real-life relationships. We thrive in connecting, building and growing our relationships with our candidates and each other. 

Now, more than ever before, this year’s conference theme, “Making Connections Count” really resonates with me and many of you. 

Having the opportunity to be together again for the FLDC with our friends, associates, and colleagues underscores our need for connection. It is how we flourish both personally and professionally, providing the ability to collaborate, share, learn, and grow together. Whether it is your first time attending or the 20th, there is always something to learn and to give. 

We will see focused content specifically for presidents and CEOs. Attendees will also experience proven programs across all areas of development. Including, the fundamentals of franchise sales, international expansion strategies, multi-unit ownership growth, and of course, marketing and lead generation strategies. These workshops will provide actionable resources and shared knowledge. The general sessions and content will be sure to inspire, and the networking events will give us even more time to connect as we leverage our collective experiences.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone in Atlanta in October, reinforcing old connections, and building new ones.
