Call for Summit Proposals
A Summit is a deep-dive gathering around a specific topic, and is recommended to not exceed 4 hours. These are often created in collaboration with our Special Interest Groups (SIGs), but can also be proposed for specific areas of developing research or programs desiring a group of thought and action leaders to make an impact.
Summits in 2024 will be scheduled over 3 days: Wednesday, January 18 (afternoon), Thursday, January 19 (Mid-day), and Sunday, January 22 (morning). Participants in the USASBE conference will be able to pick one Summit as part of their registration and be able to select other summits on a fee basis. While we would love to offer them all as included in the registration fee, there are costs associated with hosting them. We do not want to have people who cannot attend any summits have to pay the same fee as people who attend many summits.
Summits are reviewed for acceptance by the Conference Commission on a rolling basis. Early proposals are strongly encouraged. Last date to submit a proposal: August 15, 2022.
Send interest in putting together a Summit Proposal to info@usasbe.org.
Diversity and Inclusion
USASBE is committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in our community. If you have suggestions, concerns, or complaints related biases or sexual harassment, we encourage you to reach out to the Conference Commission. We are committed to protecting the anonymity of such reports and helping to address your concerns. We value your feedback and ideas to help us all build a healthier and more welcoming community.
We encourage the authors to be mindful of not using language or examples that further the marginalization, stereotyping, or erasure of any group of people, especially historically marginalized and/or under-represented groups (URGs) in entrepreneurship education. Of course, exclusionary treatment can arise unintentionally. Be vigilant and actively guard against such issues in your writing. Reviewers will also be empowered to monitor and demand changes if such issues arise in your submissions.
