Inspiring Local Government Careers - Wisconsin

#ELGLInspire events share information about careers with towns, cities, counties, and districts. This event is produced in partnership with the Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL) network, and the Wisconsin City/County Management Association (WCMA). The event includes three parts: first, students quickly learn from local government practitioners about the different jobs in local government. Then, students learn from an interactive panel discussion about finding a local government job or internship. The program ends with the chance to visit with and connect with local government leaders. For this special event, towns, villages, cities, and counties in Wisconsin will partner with local high schools to introduce local government careers with rising leaders. Some organizations may host in-person viewing sessions, but this event can also be viewed individually.
