First Taste of Baltimore 2022

First Taste is Teach For America's annual signature event introducing our newest corps of educators to Baltimore. It is a great opportunity for our teachers, many of whom are moving to Baltimore from across the country, to sample the amazing foods that the city has to offer from notable restaurants and food trucks. Celebrating with us is your opportunity to support the newest generation of 2022 corps members. 

Purchased tickets will offset the cost of testing and certification fees, travel to summer training and relocation expenses for our incoming corps. This event brings together Teach For America teachers, alumni, and community members to welcome these new teachers who have committed to improving outcomes and expanding opportunity for Baltimore’s students.

First Taste will celebrate the six TFA Baltimore Alumni who were named Peter Jennings Award Winners for their parallel efforts in advocating for and passing the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future.
