Hosting a safe event is our top priority as we return to in-person events.
The best protection against COVID-19 is vaccination. It is required that all meeting attendees (volunteer, staff, et. al) be up to date with their primary series of COVID-19 vaccination doses, and provide evidence of a Negative COVID-19 Test taken within 72 hours of arrival.
Attendees will be asked to show proof of vaccination, their negative COVID test result AND a valid, government issued ID to attend.
We will accept the following as proof of vaccination:
CDC issued vaccination card
Digital vaccine record (e.g., vaccine passport app)
Photo of CDC issued vaccine card
Prior to arrival, each attendee, exhibitor, representative, speaker, staff, vendor, volunteer, and any other person(s) officially participating in the event will be required to upload verifiable documentation to CrowdPass. CrowdPass is HIPAA compliant and will approve and validate all uploads/documents. Your documents must be received prior to your arrival onsite at the venue.
NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST WITHIN 72 HOURS OF ATTENDANCE
Types of COVID-19 tests accepted by Power Rising:
Molecular tests, also known as a PCR test
Antigen tests, commonly known as a "rapid test"
Test Result Timing:
Getting your test results back varies greatly by the company, provider, and laboratory performing the COVID-19 test and the type of test administered. You should confirm your preferred communication method when scheduling your test.
MASKS ARE REQUIRED IN ALL SETTINGS*
The spread of COVID-19 continues to be a significant risk for many, regardless of age and other factors. Every attendee is required to wear a mask that is well-fitting and filters air well in all indoor public places, regardless of vaccination status.
Examples of a proper mask include a well-fitting respirator (e.g., N95, KN95) or a double mask (a well-fitting cloth mask over a medical mask).
You are allowed to take off your mask while you are:
Actively eating or drinking.
Alone in a separate room or space.
Showering or swimming.
Receiving cosmetic or similar personal care services (like makeup) that cannot be done without removing your mask.
Speaking during the event as a panelist, keynote, etc. only at the time of your segment and/or when addressing the audience.
Note: *There are some people who should not wear a mask, such as children younger than 2, people with certain medical conditions or disabilities, and people instructed by their medical provider not to wear a mask. Children ages 2 to 8 should wear a mask only when under adult supervision.
GENERAL HYGIENE KEEPS EVERYONE SAFE
We ask that you follow general precautionary practices, which include:
If your transportation to the event involves mass transportation systems, we ask that you please wear a mask on transit to minimize the risk of COVID transmission.
There will be hand sanitizer stations positioned throughout the event space. Please use them frequently.
Shield your coughs or sneezes with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash; if a tissue is not available, use your sleeve.
Wash your hands regularly with soap and water, for at least 20 seconds.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Stay home if you are feeling ill.
PHYSICAL DISTANCING (CHOICE OF CONTACT)
To assist attendees in communicating their level of comfort when interacting with one another, we have established the following color-coded designation (shown below) to represent each attendee’s preference of interaction:
Red – Love for a distance
Yellow – We can touch but don’t linger
Green – Open to hugs
The Hyatt Regency Atlanta (event venue) has ample space to support appropriate distancing, if desired, during educational sessions, meals, and events. To learn about safety measures at the event hotel, please visit: https://www.hyatt.com/info/coronavirus-statement
