CERTIFIED CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY COUNSELORS TRAINING
About the program
Substance abuse is one of the main public health crises in the United States today. Certified chemical dependency counselors (CDC) are key to combatting this crisis. Southcentral Foundation is pleased to be a NAADAC (National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors) approved education provider, offering courses to support individuals who are interested in becoming certified chemical dependency counselors. The four core courses everyone, regardless of degree of experience, must take to become a CDC are NAADAC Ethics, NAADAC Confidentiality, Infectious diseases and HIV/AIDS and Introduction to addictive behavior. We offer these core courses in three consecutive day periods throughout the year. You must register at least 1 week prior to training date.
