Steve Deyer currently leads Construction Quality Control for Clark Construction in the Western Region managing a team of fourteen on a diverse range of projects up and down the coast. He has almost 30 years of experience in the AEC industry starting as an Architect and moving to Construction Quality Control halfway through his career. Mr. Deyer is passionate about proactive Quality, focusing on the early identification of potential issues and negative trends. He is a strong proponent of Accessibility and believes Quality Control starts in the design stages with constructability and code reviews of drawings and ends with project closeout with a clean punchlist and proper documentation. Mr. Deyer holds his Architecture License in the State of California and is a member of both the American Institute of Architects and the Design Build Institute of America. He has also compiled and written the Field Reference Manual for Accessibility based on the 2019 and 2022 California Building Codes.
