One Day Breakfast Greensboro
Come for breakfast, leave inspired and connected
Teach For America’s One Day Breakfast is our annual signature event designed to bring together community leaders, lift up the brilliance of Guilford County’s students, and highlight the impact of Teach For America educators in and outside of the classroom. Our third-annual One Day Breakfast will bring together leaders from the business, education, and civic community to celebrate the hard work of educators across Guilford County. Attendees will learn more about the state of education in a post-COVID world, TFA’s mission to close the educational equity gap in Guilford County, engage with students and families in the communities we serve, and leave feeling inspired and motivated to pursue equity in an actionable way. The annual event will feature contributions from educational leaders in the Piedmont Triad Community: Dr. Whitney Oakley (Superintendent of Guilford County Schools) Maurice “Mo” Green (Executive Director of the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation) Mindy Oakley (Executive Director at The Edward M. Armfield, Sr. Foundation) Stephen Bell, (Teach for America North Carolina Alumnus and Guilford County Schools American Indian Education Coordinator) Maggie O’Daniel (Teach for America North Carolina Alumna and Educator) Dr. Monique Perry-Graves (Executive Director, Teach for America North Carolina) Come for breakfast - leave as part of the TFA family!
